The 1992 Laois Senior Hurling Championship was the 99th staging of the Laois Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Laois County Board in 1888.[1] The championship ran from 8 May to 4 October 1992.
Portlaoise were the defending champions.[2][3]
The final was played on 4 October 1992 at O'Moore Park in Portlaoise, between Clonad and Portlaoise, in what was their fourth meeting in the final overall. Clonad won the match by 0–16 to 2–07 to claim their 14th championship title overall and a first title in 22 years.[4][5] It was the first time since 1975 that a team other than Camross or Portlaoise won the title.[6]
