The 1991 Laois Senior Hurling Championship was the 98th staging of the Laois Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Laois County Board in 1888.[1] The championship ran from 18 May to 22 September 1991.

Camross were the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Clonad in the quarter-finals.[2][3]

The final was played on 22 September 1991 at O'Moore Park in Portlaoise, between Portlaoise and Clonad, in what was their third meeting in the final overall. Portlaoise won the match by 1–14 to 0–07 to claim their ninth championship title overall and a first title in two years.[4][5]
