Elections to the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR were held on 9 February 1947.[1][2] Held one year after the 1946 Soviet Union legislative election, it was the first republican-level election in the Russian SFSR after World War II. A total of 750 seats were filled by nominees of the Communist Party and non-partisan allies. Each single-member district had only one candidate running unopposed.
