Tim van der Leij (born 6 March 2006)[1] is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart, primarily as a forward.

Professional career

RKC Waalwijk

Originally a product of the Waalwijk academy,[2] van der Leij played for the senior team from 2025 to 2026. Van der Leij was a frequent starter for Waalwijk since their relegation from the Eredivisie, including in a 2–2 draw against Jong FC Utrecht, where he scored a brace.[3]

VfB Stuttgart

Van der Leij was signed by VfB Stuttgart in June 2026, with a contract until 2030.[4][5]
