Rahimabad (Persian: رحيم اباد)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Jayedar-e Shomali Rural District[b] in the Central District of Pol-e Dokhtar County, Lorestan province, Iran.[3] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Valieasr,[4][c] transferred from the original capital, the village of Sarab Hammam,[5] upon the latter's conversion to a city.[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 244 in 54 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 388 people in 91 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 370 people in 96 households.[1]
