The Livo (Italian: Torrente di Livo) is an Italian river that rises at an elevation of about 1,800 metres (5,900 ft) in the alpine basin of Lake Darengo, northwest of Lake Como. The river runs through the homonymous valley and flows into Lake Como in Domaso.[1]
Path
The adventure to the Pozze di Domaso begins in the charming lakeside village of Domaso, where you can leave your car near the historic Church of San Bartolomeo. and walk down to the river.
As you follow the winding course of the Livo, the landscape transforms into a hidden playground of polished pebbles and crystal clear pools. This is no ordinary hiking trail. The route invites you to embrace the spirit of exploration and expect to step into the water, hop across rocks, and weave from one bank to the other, choosing the best crossings as you venture deeper into the valley.[2]
