KZGZ (97.5 FM) — branded as Power 98 — is an rhythmic-leaning contemporary hit radio-formatted station broadcasting from the village of Hagåtña in the United States territory of Guam. It is owned and operated by Glimpses Media. It signed on the air on February 23, 1993.*

  • This information of signing on this format in 1993 is incorrect. This format signed on in 1990, because I was hired to do afternoon drive on KZGZ-Power 98 by Rex Sorensen. I came half-way around the world from New York to do this. One of the requests I had was this format. Which was considered CHR-Urban, or Churban back then. It was during the time Ray Gibson was doing mornings at KOKU, and Scholar Brad was doing nights at KOKU. 1990 was the year.
