On December 16, 2025, Ralston signed a minor league contract with the Miami Marlins and was then assigned to the Triple-A Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp to begin the 2026 season.[12] On August 4, 2026, the Marlins added Ralston to their 40-man roster and optioned him back to Jacksonville.[13] Across 39 appearances for Jacksonville, Ralston had a 6-2 record, a 1.66 ERA and 75 strikeouts across 59+2⁄3 innings.[14] On August 23, Ralston was promoted to the major leagues for the first time.[15] He made his MLB debut that day versus the Washington Nationals and pitched two scoreless innings in relief while recording two strikeouts with the first of his MLB career being of Nasim Nuñez.[16]
