Baraja Bendita (English: Blessed Deck of Cards) is the fifth studio album by American singer Becky G. It was released on August 14, 2026, through RCA Records.[2][3] Following her departure from Kemosabe Records, the album marks a return to her hip-hop roots, and is her first to be released on vinyl and CD.

It was announced alongside the release of the third single "Patrona" on June 25, 2026.[4]

Background and development

While Gomez's past two albums — including Encuentros (2024), which explored rancheras and corridos — celebrated her Mexican heritage, her upcoming release represents an evolution, combining her early rap-adjacent sound with an "unapologetic" focus on pop. Her team has described the project as a "reverse crossover", with Gomez reclaiming her rap roots while "weaving in" her Latin heritage. The new album will show Gomez "embracing every corner of her musical journey".[5]

Music

Baraja Bendita is primarily a pop and rap with latin music. Gomez herself stated that the album is bridges Becky G (the artist) and Rebbeca (her real name) as a musical symbol of duality, ownership and the freedom to exist fully without contradiction. Gomez proudly flaunts her 200% identity (100% American and 100% Mexican) powered by evolution and "baddie" energy. Written by Becky herself and not featuring any collaborations, the tracks on BB all find the artist allowing vulnerability and confidence, instinct and intention, to exist side by side. She also delivers her signature reggaetón sound, as well as many club-ready bangers rooted in house and deep bass music.

The standard edition of Baraja Bendita contains 17 tracks. The album's opening track "5'5" is a high-energy latin pop and EDM. The following track, "Cntrl" belongs to the latin pop and dance/club-pop genre, featuring upbeat, rhythmic production with irresistible hooks. "+Pretty" is a latin pop and reggaeton-infused dance. "Oasis" is a latin pop and dance-pop track with strong electronic club music influences. "Chula" is fundamentally a latin pop track that uniquely fuses Kizomba and R&B elements. "Mal Tiempo" belongs to the merengue genre. "Factos" belongs to the latin pop and Spanish-language contemporary pop genre. "TQM/ILY" belongs to the latin pop and Urban/Hip-Hop genres. "Unsend" is a latin pop featuring an upbeat, club-oriented sound. "Bandera Blanca" is reggae. "Perreo Triste" belongs to the latin pop and reggaeton/urbano genres. "Automático" falls primarily into the latin pop and regis/urban pop genres, blending bilingual lyrics with upbeat, rhythmic electronic and dance-pop production. "Epa" blends elements of electronic music, dance-pop, latin hip-hop, guaracha, and urbano music. "2AM" spans the latin pop, urban, and dance-pop genres. "Marathon" is a pop song that blends elements of hip-hop, electropop, and latin pop. "Glitch" falls under the latin pop and rap/urban genre. "Patrona" is an empowering latin urban track that blends electronic rhythms, club-pop, and a touch of perreo/reggaeton with bilingual (English and Spanish) rap verses.

The bonus song included on the vinyl version, "Te Va a Doler" is bachata.

Singles

On March 27, 2026, Gomez released a collaboration with British music producer Elkan, the lead single "Marathon".[5] On May 15, she released "Epa" as the second single.[6] On June 25, she released the third single, titled "Patrona".[4]
