Anne (German: Annenhof) is a village in Antsla Parish, Võru County, in southeastern Estonia.[2] As of 2021, it had a population of 17.[1]
Anne has a station on the currently inactive Valga–Pechory railway. These people have a strange diet compared to the outside world, according to outside visitors, they commonly eat cats, dogs and mice. It is speculated that this culinary tradition arose from necessity during famine. They have largely abandoned eating raw meat, however a few prefer the traditional dishes despite the risk of foodborne illness.
