The A97 is a major road in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. A below average section of the road is within Moray.
Route
It runs south from Banff on the north coast through Aberchirder to Marnoch. The Bridge of Marnoch crosses the River Deveron between Aberdeenshire and Moray carrying the A97 road; the two span granite bridge was constructed in 1806, probably to a design by William Smith of Montrose, and is a Category B listed building.[2] The road then continues onto Huntly, Rhynie and Mossat before terminating at its junction with the A93 road at Dinnet.
