The 2026 Longford Senior Football Championship is the 110th edition of Longford GAA's premier Gaelic football tournament for senior graded clubs in County Longford, Ireland. Eleven teams compete, with the winner representing Longford in the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship.
Killoe Young Emmets are the defending champions after defeating Colmcille in the previous years final. It was their 15th senior title.[1]
Ardagh Moydow won their first Longford Intermediate Football Championship after defeating St Brigid's Killashee to be promoted to the S.F.C.[2] Mostrim and Fr Manning Gaels finished in the bottom spots in the relegation group and therefore were relegated to the 2026 I.F.C.
The draw for the group stage of the championship was made on 11 May 2026.[3]
Championship Structure
The 2026 Longford S.F.C begins with a group stage consisting of two groups, each holding six teams in Group A and five teams in Group B. The top four teams in each group qualify for the quarter-finals while the rest of the teams play in a round robin stage, where the bottom two teams in that group are relegated to the 2027 I.F.C.
