Nnamdi Chimdi Ibekwe

Nnamdi Chimdi Ibekwe Listenⓘ (born 1972) is a Nigerian politician who serves as a member of the 8th Abia State House of Assembly representing Bende North State Constituency under the People's Democratic Party (PDP).[1]

Ibekwe currently serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Finance in the Abia State House of Assembly.[2][3]


Political career

Nnamdi Chimdi Ibekwe contested the 2023 [[[Abia State]] House Assembly election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and was elected to represent Bende North State Constituency in the 8th Abia State House of Assembly. He was inaugurated as a member of the Assembly in June 2023.

Within the Assembly, Ibekwe has served as Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, where he has participated in legislative oversight and discussions relating to public finance and economic development in Abia State.

Before his election, Ibekwe contested for the Bende North State Assembly seat during the PDP primary process in 2019 but was unsuccessful. He later secured the party's ticket in the 2022 primary election and won the 2023 general election.[4][5][6]
