Mouloudia Club de Marrakech (المولودية الرياضية المراكشية), commonly known as Mouloudia Marrakech or MCM, is a Moroccan association football club based in Marrakech. Founded in 1948, the club historically competed in top-flight Moroccan football and currently plays in the Moroccan national amateur divisions.[1]
History
Mouloudia Club de Marrakech was established in 1948 during the French protectorate era. The club emerged as a key nationalist sports entity in Marrakech alongside city rivals KAC Marrakech.
During the late 1970s and 1980s, Mouloudia Marrakech reached its competitive peak, achieving promotion to the Botola Pro and spending several seasons in the top flight. The club also reached the semifinals of the Throne Cup during the 1979–80 season.[2]
In subsequent decades, financial constraints led to successive relegations into Botola Pro 2 and the lower tiers of the Amateur National.
