Manuchim Umezuruike

Umezuruike Manuchim is a Nigerian politician. He currently serves as the Federal Representative representing Port-Harcourt I constituency of Rivers State in the 10th National Assembly.[1][2][3][4][5][6]


Political career

Manuchim Umezuruike is a Nigerian politician from Rivers State. He represents Port Harcourt I Federal Constituency in the Nigerian House of Representatives.

He contested the Port Harcourt I Federal Constituency seat in the 2023 general election on the platform of the Labour Party (LP) and was declared the winner. His election was subsequently challenged, but the Court of Appeal affirmed the result in December 2023.

He serves as a member of the 10th National Assembly, representing Port Harcourt I Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.[7][8][4]

Manuchim Umezuruike is a member of the 10th National Assembly, representing Port Harcourt I Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

During the early period of the 10th House of Representatives, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Ad-hoc Committee on Review of the Standing Orders of the House. The committee was established to review the rules guiding the proceedings and operations of the House.[9][10]
