Long has authored, edited, or co-edited over a dozen books on Hinduism, Jainism, and related topics.

Political Affiliations

Long has a multi-decade history of collaborating with the Hindu American Foundation (HAF) and was a consultant to it during its 2006 lawsuit against the California Board of Education.[5][6] He has also authored works published on the HAF's website, received an award from the HAF in 2018, and served on the HAF's advisory committee in the early 2020s.[7][8][9]

Works

Long's work often focuses on Process Theology, where every action is a potential path to the Divine, and references Sister Nivedita's work and her quote "Life is itself religion".[10]
