Christy Tony Maalouf (Arabic: كريستي توني معلوف; born 20 December 2005) is a Lebanese footballer who plays as forward for the Lebanon national team.

Club career

Lebanon

Maalouf began her career at the Jeita Country Club, later moving to Zouk Mosbeh.[2] With 15 goals,[3] she was the second-highest scorer of the 2018–19 season.[2] She then joined EFP,[2] where she scored a total of 55 goals across all competitions between 2019 and 2023.[3][1]

Paris FC 2

In January 2024, midway through the 2023–24 season, Maalouf moved to France and signed with Paris FC,[4] playing for the club's reserve team in the Régional 1, the fourth tier of French women's football. She made her debut on 27 January as a starter in a 1–1 draw against Fleury's reserve team.[5] Maalouf scored five goals in eight appearances in 2023–24.[3]

VGA Saint-Maur

Ahead of the 2024–25 season, Maalouf joined VGA Saint-Maur, another Régional 1 club.[6] She won three titles with the club that season: the Régional 1 Île-de-France championship, securing promotion to Division 3; the Coupe de Paris, in which she scored in the final against Sarcelles;[7] and the Coupe du Val-de-Marne.[8] Maalouf finished the season with 14 goals in 16 games in all competitions.[3]

During the 2025–26 Division 3 season, Maalouf scored seven goals and provided four assists in 19 games,[9] including two goals and three assists in a 7–0 win over US Orléans on 26 April 2026.[10] She helped her side avoid relegation and win a second consecutive Coupe de Paris.[11] Maalouf departed the club in July 2026.[12]

International career

Youth

Maalouf played for Lebanon U15 at the 2019 WAFF U-15 Championship, winning the tournament as the top scorer with nine goals in two games.[2] She also won the 2022 WAFF U-18 Championship with Lebanon U18 as the tournament's best player.[13]

Senior

Maalouf made her senior international debut for Lebanon on 24 August 2021, as a starter in a 0–0 draw against Tunisia in the 2021 Arab Women's Cup.[14] She scored her first goal on 30 August, in a 5–1 win against Sudan.[15] Maalouf scored three goals in two friendly games against Syria, on 12 and 14 August 2022, including a brace in the second game.[16] She took part in the 2022 WAFF Women's Championship; Lebanon finished as runners-up,[17] with Maalouf scoring twice against Palestine and Syria.[18]

With her goal against Indonesia in a 5–0 win at the 2024 AFC Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament, on 8 April 2023, Maalouf reached Sara Bakri's national-team record of seven goals for Lebanon.[19] She surpassed the record on 18 July 2023 – aged 17 years, 210 days – scoring a goal in a 5–0 win against Palestine.[20] The record was broken two months later, on 30 September, when Lili Iskandar scored her ninth international goal.[21]

She was called up to the 2024 WAFF Women's Championship,[22] scoring two goals against Guam and Saudi Arabia.[3] On 16 July 2025, Maalouf scored a hat-trick against Iran in a 3–1 win – Lebanon's first – in the 2026 Asian Cup qualifiers, bringing her tally to 17 goals and reclaiming her spot as Lebanon's all-time top scorer. It was also Lebanon's first ever hat-trick in an Asian Cup qualifier.[23]
