Chikwendu Kalu

Chikwendu Kalu Listenⓘ is a Nigerian politician. He served as a member representing the Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency and held the position of Speaker of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly.[1][2]


Political career

Chikwendu Kalu was elected to represent Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He served in the 6th and 7th Abia State House of Assembly and was elected Speaker of the 6th Assembly in 2015. As Speaker, he presided over legislative activities of the Assembly during his tenure.

Kalu was re-elected in the 2019 Abia State House of Assembly election, where he continued to represent Isiala Ngwa South Constituency on the platform of the PDP. He served as a member of the House until the end of his tenure[3][2].
