Club career
Firinidis spent his early developmental years within the youth set-up of Olympian FC before moving to Vataniakos.[3] During his time at Vataniakos, he made history by sharing the pitch in official Gamma Ethniki league matches alongside his father, Giannis, who was the club's active starting goalkeeper at the time.[2][4]

Following his strong performances with Trikala, Firinidis signed a professional contract with Super League Greece 2 club Panachaiki on 15 July 2026.[1] He participated in the club's first official pre-season team gathering and training session for the 2026–27 competitive campaign held at the Kostas Davourlis Stadium in Agia on 27 July 2026.[7][8]
Personal life
Firinidis is the son of Giannis Firinidis, a long-time professional football goalkeeper who has played across various divisions in Greece and Cyprus.[2]
