Cayo Boca Seca (or simply Boca Seca) is an islet or Cay[1] located in the Morrocoy National Park[2] in the state of Falcón, Venezuela.[3][4]

Geography

The island is situated in the Caribbean Sea, specifically north of Playuelita beach, from which it is separated by a coral reef. It has an approximate area of 58 hectares (0.58 km²) and features several internal lagoons.[5][6]

Tourism and Ecology

Its coral formations host a rich variety of fish species, making it a popular destination for snorkeling. The beach is also used as a recreational destination by major hotels based in the nearby town of Tucacas.[7]

Services

The island offers public restrooms, a restaurant, street vendors, and rental services for beach gear, primarily inflatables.
