Camilla Huseby (born 12 April 1999) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a defender for Norwegian First Division club Kolbotn IL.

Career

Born in Lørenskog at Akershus University Hospital,[1] she grew up in Ås and started her career in Ås IL.[2] She made her international debut for Norway U15 in 2014, as she also joined the bigger neighboring club, Kolbotn IL. Her Toppserien debut came in August 2015, in a 10–0 thrashing of Medkila, followed by her first Toppserien goal in November 2016 against Trondheims-Ørn.[3]

In the 2017 First Division, Huseby had changed clubs to Lyn and was named Player of the Year. The team won promotion to the Toppserien in the same year.[4] She contested the 2018 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship.[5] After three seasons in Lyn, Huseby needed "a new challenge".[6] In 2020 she was persuaded to move to the Damallsvenskan with Djurgårdens IF.[2] The COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden and Norway meant a curtailing of the free travel between the countries, and as such, Huseby chose to move back to Norway after the 2020 campaign.[7]

She joined Vålerenga, the rival of her former club Lyn,[8] then went on to Vålerenga's other rival, LSK Kvinner FK ahead of the 2023 season.[9] In January 2025, Huseby rejoined her childhood club Kolbotn.[10]

Personal life

She is a twin sister of Linn Huseby. They played for the same teams until 2020.[11][12]
