C'est Lovi Productions is a Philippine film production company founded by actress and producer Lovi Poe in 2022. The company develops and produces both local and international film projects, aiming to showcase Filipino talent and stories to a global audience.[1] The company's name is a pun of the French- language translation of "That is life!" (C'est la vie!)

History

C'est Lovi Productions was launched since August 4, 2022 by Lovi Poe, to pursue her vision of creating original, high-quality films. The company was publicly introduced alongside announcements about its first major project, The Sacrifice, which is being produced in the Philippines with international partners.[2][3]

According to Poe, the company's mission is to support emerging Filipino filmmakers, promote authentic storytelling, and expand the reach of Philippine cinema globally.[4] The first credit was for Guilty Pleasure .

Guilty Pleasure

Guilty Pleasure is a romantic drama film produced by C'est Lovi Productions and Regal Entertainment and distributed by Netflix[5][6][7]. It expands the company's international reach, demonstrating its commitment to delivering Filipino stories to global streaming audiences.

The Sacrifice

The Sacrifice is the first film produced by C'est Lovi Productions. Directed by Prime Cruz, it is described as a psychological and supernatural horror film. Shot on location in the Philippines, the story centers on themes of family secrets and otherworldly forces. The cast includes Lovi Poe, Timothy Granaderos, Enchong Dee, Max Collins, and Lav Diaz, who also appears in an acting role. Production wrapped in 2025.[8][9]

Ignition

Ignition is an upcoming British thriller written and directed by James Erskine. The film stars Maisie Williams, Rory Kinnear and Lovi Poe. It was produced by New Bright Films, Playhouse Pictures and Sharp House, in association with several companies including C'est Lovi Productions.[10] The story follows a woman whose journey to London is disrupted when an anonymous caller tells her that a bomb has been placed in her car. The film was introduced to international buyers by WestEnd Films during the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.[11]

Makikiraan Po

Makikiraan Po, internationally titled Let Us Through, Dear Ancestors, is a Philippine film written and directed by Lav Diaz. The film was produced by C'est Lovi Productions, Epicmedia Productions and Sine Olivia Pilipinas, with Poe serving as an executive producer through C'est Lovi Productions.[12] Set during the Spanish colonial period in the Philippines, the film concerns the construction of seventeenth-century churches through the forced labor of native Filipinos. It stars Bart Guingona, Ronnie Lazaro, Isabel Sandoval, Yul Servo, Christian Bables and Bong Cabrera.[13] Makikiraan Po was selected to have its world premiere in the Open – Out of Competition section of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.[13][12]
