Bhateja

Bhateja (ਭठेਜਾ), also spelled Bhatheja, Batheja, etc. is an Arora surname found in Punjab, India. It was also found in Punjab, Pakistan before partition. It is usually a Sikh Arora Surname but is also found in Punjabi Hindus, Sindhi Hindus and Sindhi Sikhs. As the Arora caste and Arora Surnames ending with -eja and -ani are found in all of these communities.
