Bennett B. Shotade was a Nigerian Scouting official who served as the Africa Regional Scout Commissioner of the World Scout Bureau.
In 1977 he was awarded the 112th Bronze Wolf, the only distinction of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, presented by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting. In the official list of recipients he is recorded under “World Bureau”.[1]
He has also been listed as a recipient of the Silver World Award of the Boy Scouts of America, although independent contemporary confirmation of that award is limited.[2]
Very little additional biographical information about Shotade is available in published secondary sources.
