Benedict Vielu Benagr (born 17 September 2007) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left-wing-back and left-winger for EFL League One club Luton Town.
Early life
Benedict Vielu Benagr[1] was born on 17 September 2007[2] in Luton, Bedfordshire. He attended Cardinal Newman Catholic School.[3]
Career
Benagr joined the Luton Town academy as an Under-7.[3]
Following the Under-18's squad's successful 2024–25 season, Benagr signed his first professional contract on 18 February 2025 alongside teammate Christian Chigozie. He was unable to play for the majority of the following season due to injury.[3][4]
Benagr made his first-team debut on 8 August 2026 in an EFL Cup win away at Gillingham after a successful stint in pre-season. He scored in the 59th minute from a cross by Nahki Wells.[5]
