Arpara Government Ideal High School is a secondary school situated in Arpara, Jashore Road, Shalikha Upazila, Magura District, Khulna Division, Bangladesh.[2] Originally established as a private institution in 1945, the school was nationalized by the Government of Bangladesh in 2018.[3][4] It operates under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Jashore with Educational Institute Identification Number (EIIN) 118071.[5]
History
This school was established in 1945 to provide secondary education to students in the Arpara area, located beside Jashore Road. For several decades, it operated as a private secondary school. In 2018, the Government of Bangladesh nationalized the institution and officially changed its name from 'Arpara Ideal High School' to the current 'Arpara Government Ideal High School'.[6] [7]
Academics
Arpara Government Ideal High School offers secondary education from Grade 6 to Grade 10. For students in Grades 9 and 10, the curriculum offers three academic branches:
- Science
- Business Studies
- Humanities
The institution follows the national secondary curriculum managed by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Jashore.[8][9][10]
Administration
The institution employs around 30 staff members.[11] The academic and administrative functions are currently led by acting Head Teacher Md. Rafiqul Islam.[12]
