Antić

Antić, Antic, Antiç or Antič (Serbian Cyrillic: Антић, Croatian pronunciation: [ǎːntitɕ]) is a Croatian[1] and Serbian surname. It is among the 500 most common surnames in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Kosovo.[2] It is derived from Antonius[3] and its varieties, like Ante.[1]

In Croatia it is recorded as early as in 1678.[1] In Croatia, surname bearers are mostly from Crikvenica and Šibenik region.[1]
