Andrew Rakich (born December 10, 1991) is an American YouTuber, activist, and filmmaker known for creating and hosting the YouTube channel Atun-Shei Films (/ɑːˈtuːn ʃeɪ/), which specializes in producing videos about the history of the United States. Among his most popular works is the 10-part history series "Checkmate, Lincolnites!", in which he debunks common Lost Cause myths about the Confederacy that originated following the American Civil War.[1]

Rakich made his feature directorial debut in 2023 with the supernatural horror film The Sudbury Devil about a pair of Puritan witch hunters investigating rumors of devil worship in 17th century New England;[2][3][4] the film was praised by Giallo Julian of Dread Central, who described it as "beautifully shot, well-performed, suitably eerie, and appropriately grotesque."[5] His sophomore feature, a docudrama entitled The Vampires of New Orleans, is scheduled to be released on October 1, 2026.[6]

Rakich practices veganism and has canvassed for the animal rights group Pro-Animal Future.[7]
